How do thankyü payouts work?

When do I get paid?

thankyü processes all payouts on Tuesdays, which we call tüesdays.

How does the payout process work?

Tips, rewards, and donations can be received at any time.
When a customer makes a payment, the amount appears in your thankyü Wallet as ‘Pending’.
Your balance builds up over the week, and on tüesday morning, we process a payout to your linked card (the card you added during onboarding).
The payout should arrive in your bank account within 4 hours, depending on your bank’s processing times.

Are there any fees for payouts?

Can I get paid earlier if I need the money?

Yes! If you've built up a large balance or need the funds for a specific reason, you can request an extra payout through the app.

Depending on your subscription plan, additional payouts may include a small charge.
You can check any applicable fees in the thankyü app.

Where does my payout go?

All payouts are sent to the card you linked during onboarding. If you need to change your linked card, you can update it in the thankyü app settings.

What happens if my payout is delayed?

Payouts usually take no more than 4 hours after being processed.
If your payout hasn’t arrived after 4 hours, check:
- Your linked card details in the app.
- Your bank account for pending transactions.
- If your bank has any processing delays.

Do I need to pay tax on my payouts?

Depending on your location and tax laws, you may need to declare your earnings.
thankyü does not deduct tax automatically, so it’s your responsibility to check with your local tax authority.
