What are ‘Circles’ in thankyü?

Circles are the easiest way to automatically share tips with others—whether it’s a colleague, friend, or family member. At thankyü, we believe:

How Do Circles Work?

• When you create a Circle, you:

  • Choose a name for your Circle.

  • Set a start and end time.

  • Add members (who must be existing thankyü users).

  • Define how tips are split (%) among members.

Once active, any tips you receive are automatically shared with your Circle members based on your chosen percentages. Note: we show the % rate with no decimal places, so there may be minor rounding differences.

How to use ‘Circles’

• As a thankyü user, you can create Circles.

• You control who’s in your Circle and how tips are split.

• You can have multiple Circles but only one active Circle at a time.

• Circles can be turned on/off or archived as needed.

Additional Notes

If you work in multiple teams or across different employers, Circles allow you to receive multiple tips without any extra admin.

Just like regular payouts, all tips received through Circles are paid out on tüesdays.
